Tequila Mockingbird
Let's make one of the choices for this week's outing somewhere that doesn't serve tequila, how 'bout it? I'm far too old to be passing out in other people's beds.

So, since it seems that now people are just voting over and over again for their venue choices (since there aren't actually 19 people who come to this site....I don't think), I look to our fearless leader to announce the winner (as long as its the Duke of Kent!). Its really close to my new job so I have to start getting used to getting drunk in that neighbourhood :)
I think we need to discuss some important, non-beer-related issues on this site and this is perfect one to start with....the U.S. Supreme Court rejected a constitutional challenge to an Alabama law that makes it a crime to sell sex toys. The law prohibits the distribution of "any device designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs." First-time violators can face a fine of up to $10,000 and as much as one year in jail. The appeals court said it agreed with Alabama that the law exercised time-honored use of state police power to restrict the sale of sex. It rejected the ACLU's argument that the constitutional right to privacy covered the commercial sale of sex toys.
Now that we no longer have unscrupulous people washing the blue ink off their fingers and getting back in line, it would appear that the torrent of votes has ceased and Friday has won. Thursday has refused to offer a concession speach and vows to be back.
Ok, it's very little like Iraq, but at least we too now have free and democratic elections. If you don't vote, you don't get a say on when or where we go next.
This is terribly alarming.
Ok, so here's my plan for Thursday. Catch up with me where you can.
