Pool Party - The Sequel, Starring Corn on the Cob

Since the last event was so successful, we're going to do it again.

Same place, same rules, more beer.

As long as my chauffeurs are back from Saskatchewan by then I'll be there! The difficulties of not owning a car...

I was going to refer you to a new place that I heard about: www.wheels4rent.ca, but I didn't get the glowing review that I was expecting:

I ended up with a 1995 Dodge Spirit. A little rough around the edges. No A/C, no CD, Brake light never goes off, gas gauge didn't work 100% etc. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. It was a bit more expensive than I thought it would be too. It was 99 dollars for 3 days (and they did a credit card check for 650$!!!! - this from the place that says you don't need credit to rent from them). I still like the concept, and I think that may have been one of their crappier cars, but because I picked it up at 5:30 on a Friday that's what I got. They have different locations listed on their website, so maybe the others would be better.

I actually just got out of autoshare (www.autoshare.com) because I wasn't happy with how expensive it was turning out to be. They had really nice new cars, but I took a day trip to Kitchener and it cost me $150 - would have been cheaper to rent a car.

Thanks though! I'm sure Karen and Jeremy don't mind being my chauffeurs ;)

We are home, but something tells me that our chauffeuring skills will be pressed into action taking James to Montreal that weekend. I could be wrong (and I hope I am... pool parties rock (especially ones with beer)), one may want to confirm with Karen.

Just bring James. He could probably learn somethings from us.

Yes, but would it be anything he should learn?
